Flowers

You might be wondering why my floral design business is listed under yoga.  Yoga is  so much more than what we do on a yoga mat, but rather how we engage with life.  Whether I am teaching yoga, public speaking, leading my leadership intensive of creating floral designs my intention is always to add more BEAUTY to the world-and flowers do just that. Flowers are the most evolved part of the plant and they have a divine relationship with life itself.   Some believe without the existence of flowers we wouldn’t be here.  Flowers are more than just delicate little things, they are the life force itself expressed a unique bloom that is having a love affair with each of us.

I offer full floral design for events, small weddings (under 150 people) and one-of-a-kind arrangements for special occasions and holidays (like Mother’s day, Valentine’s Day, and birthdays).

I create designs daily using local  and seasonal flowers whenever possible and whenever available.

Style

Each design is intended to feel like it was just picked from the farm, focusing on elegant, whimsical, lush, natural, sophisticated and wild designs. They are mindfully crafted and infused with an intention of LOVE (I actually do a little meditation on each piece)–I believe from the moment  the flowers are picked until they show up to your event they should be treated with care! My goal is to cut down the unnecessary waste that is prevalent in the flower industry by creating gorgeous designs that are seasonal and sourced daily. This commitment to sustainability and social responsibility means specific flowers may not be guaranteed, but beauty certainly is!

Events and Weddings

Using me as your wedding or event floral designer means you want stunning arrangements that have elegance yet rustic chic-ness.  You will always receive the best local and seasonal flowers available that day or fresh flowers that have been shipped from Holland.  Though certain flowers can not always be guaranteed  you still pick the general color palette, how many centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres and large arrangements you would like and I take care of the rest by focusing on quality, beauty, and freshness–in turn, you are happy and we are socially responsible (I support local farmers whenever possible).

Whenever possible, I use vintage and recycled vases and containers.  Burlap, vintage ribbons/fabric or other recycled material are used to wrap bouquets instead of cellophane.
